As I promised yesterday, here’s the pictures of our new dog, Woland. He’s getting close to a year old now, and weighs about 40kg. While he’s very non-aggressive and normally subservient (which is good since it minimises conflict with other dogs), he is also really stubborn—if he doesn’t want to do something, don’t expect much cooperation. Does not like being alone.
(I do apologise for the bad image quality, though.)
His mother’s a mix of a Border Collie and a Groenendaal, also known as a Belgian Shepherd. The father is a German Shepherd, and somewhere in his mutt family history, there’s supposedly some Newfoundlander and/or Labrador genes as well, judging by his webbed toes and fur pattern.
It’s not really visible at all on these pictures, but the fur on his neck has a greyish German Shepherd pattern.
